A fire occurred m the parcels office at Windsor last night, and after being extinguished, an infernal machine was discovered among the debris. On examining the machine it was found that the fuae attached, instead of causing an explosion, had ignited tho box m which it was contained, and set fire to the office. The Merchant Shipping and Underwriters' Association report the arrival of the ship Latona from Timaru (left May 3rd) via Port Chalmers. Capetown, Dec. 21.
