CORRESPONDENCE.
THE LAWYERS. ' TO THE BDITOB OP THE TISIABt; HBBAM).
Sib, — Your subscribers on perusing your correspondence column this morning, conld not fail to see there was evidently a great tcare amongst a certain class on what I might terra legal adhesion. It reminded me of my early Bchool dajs, when the venerable old ma*t9r failing to detect tho culprit amidst tbe universal cry of "it wasn't me, would decide to punish tho lot m order to catch the del nqnent. But I have digressed altogether from my intention when I sat down to write. My object was to ask if you have a copy amongßt your files of tbe letter or document I mentioned m my previous letter, which Mr Travers published ; if bo, would it be too much to ask you to republieh it m your valuable paper ? I have do recollection as to the date, but I think it will be found m tbe fllo for 1831 or 1880. Apologising for thus intruding upon your space, I am, &0., Live and Lbt Lite. May 23rd, 1884. [We have no copy of the document referred to, as fnr as we aro aware. Perhaps our correspondent will be able to get it for us. — Kd. T. B.~\
