Mr Mitehelson leaves to-morrow for Te Awamutu by train, whence he will shape his course by the western railway route (Carkeuk's) to New Plymouth, and thence to Wellington vir", Stratford and the Ohuru Valley. A deputation representing tho Frozen Meat Company waited upon Sir Mitchelson to-day and obtaineci from him a promise that a night train will be put on to bring meat from Waikato to be frozen at the dep&t on. the same terms as m the South. The Wairarapa took experimental shipments of frozen hoof, mutton, fish, etc., for the Sydney market. The house of Francis Creighton at Hume Point has been burnt.
