Good progress was made, and a large number of votes passed. [Received 0.35 a.m., March Bfj.] Melbourne, March 7. A cricket match between the Australian Eleven and fifteen of Victoria was commonced here to-d^y. Tho home team went m first, andatthu close of the day's play had lost seven wickets for 171 runs. Horan was the highest scorer, with 83. Not much interest is being taken m the match, and the attendance to-day was ' small. It is now stated to bii probable that Spofforth will after all proceed to ? England with the Australian teum.
