He was boarding at my hotel for two days previous to the 23rd February. On that day I gave him a £5 note on the Union Bank of Australia snd a. 1 note on the Bank of Hew Zealand, to get change for me. The prisoner was then committed for trial st tho next criminal sitting of the District Court nt Timaru. This being all the buiinets the Court rose.
