Also, A number of Lincoln, Leicester, and Romney Marsh Rams 50 Shorthorn Pedigree Heifers 15 3-year-old Draught Colts and Fillies, by Heather Jock 15 First-class Hacks, broken and unbroken 100 Pure Berkshire Pigs, weaners, bacon pigs, and breeding sows. The Auctioneers would specially draw tho attention of Breeders and othors to this extensive loud fide Sale, and feel sure that those in search of First-class Sheep, Shorthorn Cattle, Draught Horses, &o , should not lose this opportunity of securing well-bred and useful stock. Tho well-known excellence of the Elderslio Sheep, and the high price the wool has brought in tho London Market, should be Butficient recommendation to those feeking to establish or improve a Flock, without further comment on the part of the Auctioneers. As to tho quality of the Shorthorn Cattle, Draught Horses, &c., intending buyers cannot do better than examine tho records of the Duncdin, Christchurch, Oamaru, and other Shows to be convinced of tho superiority of Mr Reid's Stock. Tho above Machine, although only introduced into New Zealand in January 1882, has by its merits so well established itself as tho BEST IN THE COLONY, that last season wo wero unablo to supply tho unprecedented demand. Wo have received many Flattering Reports of the working of tho Machines. Among othors ono says "ho cut fifty-six acres of heavy Wheat, threshing out forty-five to fifty Bushels, in four days, with ono team of threo horses." Another " that his Machine was put to a sovcro trial of Btrongth by being capsized on a hillside, but when righted not the slightest damage was done, and it continued to work as well as before." From others we learn " that after fixing their Machines, they have yoked up, and cut right away to tho end of tho harvest without a hitch." Tho EFFICIENCY and CAPACITY of tho Machiuo has boen greatly increased by tli« following important IMPROVEMENTS added since last season : — SLIDING BINDER, IMPROVED REEL, SIMPLER KNOTTER, STRONGER CANVASSES, WORM AND WHEEL IN PLACE OF CHAIN FOR LIFTING, A DEVICE FOR PREVENTING SMALL SHEAVES. These, and others of less importance, we Bhall bo happy to point out to any one favoring us with a call, and would strongly udvisintending Purchasers of Binders to inspect tho SAMPLE NOW ON VIEW at our Warohouse, or thoso shown by our respective Agents, boforo buying. Those Improvements, coupled with tho GREATER STRENGTH, LIGHTNESS OF DRAUGHT and GREAT DEPTH OF PLATFORM, which this Machino possesses, and tho well-known excellence of Messrs HowAliu'a workmanship, will enablo the Binder to furthor increaso its lead of all others, and provo its right to the titlo of " THE BOSS MACHINE."
