We ask Farriers and others, especially Small Farmers and Contractors with Farming Plant, to consider the following facts : — That a very few years ago land in the Timaru District was worth only £2 an acre, while now it would average nearer £10. That what hna made it increase in value is settlement. That on the small holdings they have here all thoy can make is a baro living, and that in ton years' time they will be so many years older, but no better off than they are now. That (hey should considor whether, in tho interests of their families and thoir old age, they would not be wiao to sell their small high-priced farms here, which cannot increase much moi-o in. value, and purcllaso larger ones in Southland, ofi wlu'oh thoy not only can mako n hotter living, but which must inoroase in value as settlement progresses, urid leavo them rich and independent by that means alone, and THE TEEMS On which wo ore offering the Land Puts it within the reach of everyone.
