[Per Elzotbio Telegbaph— Copybight.] [Reoteb's Agency.] [Received 0.55 a.m., Sept. 13th. j Sydney, Sept. 12. Another severe shock of earthquake was experienced last night m the south of this colony, the shock being felt most distinctly at Goulbourn. A crowded and enthusiastic meeting was held m the Town Hall of this city this evening, for the purpose of considering the recent actions for libel and contempt of Court m which the proprietors of the Sydney Morning Herald were condemned to pay heavy damages. Resolutions, requesting the Legislature to amend the existing laws of libel and contempt of Court, were carried.
