At Washdyko Yards on Monday last there was a moderate entry of beef. They sold 8 head steers at L 7 17s 6d, 8 do do at L 7. Stores — Tho number yarded was only small, which comprised mostly old cows, which are hardly saleable at any price. At Winchester Fair on Thursday the entry was again a very poor one. One line of 2-year-old Bteors brought up to L 2 16s. The demand for store 3 is improving and they expect m a short time to see prices considerably higher.
