Regarding the gaol tragedy, tho jury again met to-day in order to consider thoir rider, and they agreed to add the following to their verdict: — (X) That the delay in removing Davidson to one of the gaols in the colony where prisoners sentenced to imprisonment for life are confined is much to be regretted. (2) That they consider that prisoners like Davidson, whose murderous and suicidal tendencies were known, should not under any circumstances have been employed in the gaol, and they would recommend for the ; future tbe arms bs kept in a place of greater security than the so-called armory at present ; in use.
