THE CHRISTCHURCH EXHIBITION.

[Bt Telegraph.] ChblßTChukch, June 14. The industrial price at the Exhibition has been finally awarded to the Kainpoi Woollen Faotory. The other firms recommended were — Reid and Gray, agricultural implement makers, Dunedin ; Austin and Kirk, pottery works, Chrijtchurch ; Li oh t band, Allan and Co., boot faotory, Chrietchurch ; and J. Piper, tinware, Chrittchurch. The grounds on which the Kainpoi Factory was preferred to others was the. larger number of hinds employed by them, the general magnitude of their operations, and the fact that the materials used, and some of the machinery were entirely New Zealand products. The trophy is a ret of silverware valued at £50.
