The deaths of persons not resident! of i t Borough occurring at hospitals hare been ex , eluded in nil cues. The total births in the above Boroughs amounted to|4UI, against 44' in NoTembpr, being a decrease of 46. Deathi 5 amounted to 155 in December, being an in ' creasn of 11 on the number for November Of the above deaths males contributed 8* females 71. 74 of the deaths were of cbil dren under fire year*, being 47.74 per cent ol > the whole number. 53 of these were childrei p under one year.
