NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS.
Wo havo received a very characteristic letter from J. H. Sntter. He complains that onr report of the householders' mooting on Monday night was " a garbled and an nntruo statonlent of what took place, and, with obliging considßrateuoad ho ouclqsos ns au extract of what ho said at tho meeting, from our ovening contemporary, nnd coolly requests U3 to publish it. It would bo a wasto of onr spneo and a trial to our readers pahenco to grant Mr Slitter's request, especially an. having takon tho trouble to comparo tho two reports, wo find thorn almost exactly identical, excepting that our reporter, when Mr Sutter mado his now stereotyped chargo against the Board of Education and its Chairman, brackoted tho words " criea of ' order and other marks of dianpprobntion,' whereas our contemporary reports on tho samo matter — ; ' Mr Bower : I rise to order." But wo have th« best of ovidenco that thero wero othor strong marks of disapprobation shown.—M>. T.H.
