Sir Evelyn Wood, the present Governor of the colony, will return to England at the end of December. Berlin, Nov. 15. Count De St. Vallier, the French Ambassador to Germany, has resigned his post. Nov. 16. Prince Bismarck had an interview yesterday with His Majesty the Emperor. It has since transpired that perfect harmony prevails between the Emperor and the Chancellor with regard to the home policy of the German Empire, and it is now definitely understood that the Prince will not resign. St. Petersburg, Nor. 15. General Ohaozy, -Ambassador of France to the Russian Court, has reiigned, and will shortly return to Paris. ♦— ■
