On the 10th inst. he sold a large quantity of builders' ironmongery and miscellaneous goods connected with the trade, and the results of the sale were most satisfactory. On Thursday, the 13th, he sold a large assortment of clocks and jewellery, and on the following Wednesday he held a clearing sale of drapery, furniture, &.c, and both of these sales wore decidedly better, both m point of attendance of bnyers and m the prices realised, than similar sales have been for tho last three weeks or a month. His product) sales on the 15th inst and to-day were largely attended, that of to-day more particularly so, as, besides a largo quantity of farm produco of the usual class, a choice selection of birds (imported by Mr B. Bills) and a shipmont of earthenware had to be sold, and these attracted a large attendance. Tho birds included come fine canaries, and these were keenly competed for, as were also a lot of birds from the Eastern Archipelago and a number of Australian parrots, and the prices realised were quite up to tho mark. The greater portion of tho earthenware was sold, but m consequence of tho limited time for the sale, a quantity was not submitted. In farm produce, ho quotes fionr at from 14s to 15s por sack ; sharps, 7s ; bran, 4s ; fowls' com, 10s (scarce) J potatoes, 3s 6d per bag ; bacon, 6d to 7d per lb ; hams, 7d to 7Jd ; cheeso, 4d ; fowls, 3s Gd per pair ; ducks, 4s 6d ; turkeys, 4s 6d to 6b each.
