Bowman reports for tho week ending April 23rd : — Tho United Alpine Company put through during the week 168 tons of quartz for 172 ounces of amalgam from the top plates. At the low lovel the reef is 10 feet m thickness, without any sign of running out. In the southern workings tho reef is 35 feet wide, and will average all through 25 feet. The Fiery Cross Extended crushed Gl tons for 70 ounces 14 dwts ; the Golden Fleece Extended, 138 tons for 214 ounces; tho Welcome, 100 tons quarts for 455 ounces amalgam.
