The ilngstnff at Timaru is situated m 171 deg. 17 mm. 20 sec. East longitude ; 44 deg 23 mm. South latitude. High water, full and change, 3 lira. 25 mm. ABBITED. Nil. 8 AILED. Nil. The heavy sea rolling into tho roadstead on Friday increased during the night and Saturday morning, but then rapidly went down, and though there was a nasty surf on the beach yesterday it was quite smooth outside. Early on Saturday morning all the remaining vessels m the roadstead, witli the exception of the barque Clan Campbell and the barquentine George Noblo, which rode out the gale m safety, put to sea and made a good offing, the Chile losing two of her anchors. None of them had returned again up to last evening.
