The humble Petition of the undersigned County Electors m and for that part of the County of Geraldine, which constitutes the whole of the Mount Cook- Riding of the Baid County, being notleSß than three-fifths of the County Electors for the Districts comprised m the said Riding, sheweth — 1, That your Petitioners are desirous that the said Mount Cook Riding shall constitute a new County, to be named the " Mount Cook County," having the same boundarins as the said Mount Cook Riding now has, m accordance with the provisions contained m the Counties Aot, 1876. 2. That the said Riding is of not less than 200,000 acres m extent, and contains not less that 100 County Electors. Wherefore your Petitioners humbly pray that the Baid Riding shall constitute a new County under the name of the " Mount Cook County."
