SUEZ MAIL NEWS.
[By Cable.] Slrlboubne, June 13. The following is a continuation of the summary per the Suez mail : — News from Bombay to the 23rd May states that m consequence of the Ducoit disturbances the police hare been supplemented by a military force, consisting of 800infmtry, and 200 cavalry, who are 6couring tho country. A party of the military and police encountered a number of Dncoits on May 15th. The latter were completely routed, and Bevcral killed. It is believed thnt thoDacoits do not exceed moro than a few hundreds. The latest intelligence telegraphed to Q-alle from Bombay, and dated May 25th, gives ttie followiug articles of tho treaty entered into with tho Ameer : — (1) Peace and friendship between iho two nations is declared ; (2) The Ameer grants an amnesty to all who held intercourse with the British during the war ; (3) The relations of the Ameer with other Powers will be continued under the advice of the British Government; (4) A British officer is to reside at Cabul ; (5) The Indian Government to have power to depute Agents ; (6) The Ameer guarantees tho safety of British Agent) m AfghanUtun ; (7) Telegraphio communication to bo established between Cabul and Calcutta ; (8) The restoration to the Ameer of the territories m the occupation of the British expeditionary force, except certain Passes which are to be treated as districts assigned to India; (0) The surplus revenue derived from these districts will be paid to the Ameer; (10) The British Government to hare complete control of the native tribes m the Kyber and Merrane Passes ; (11) An annual subsidy of 6 lues of rupees to be paid to the Ameer upon his observance of the treaty ; (12) A mixed Commission to be appointed to settle the question of the boundaries.
