CLEARANCE OF THE BARQUE EDWIN FOX FOR LONDON.
• The sovonth direct ship of tho season, the staunch old Duncan Dunbar barque Edwir. Fox, Captain Phease, cleared at the Custom! for London yesterday morning, and was re moved to the outer anchorage by Captaii: Mills, in readiness to proceed to sea, whicl eho will do, weather permitting, early thii morning. Captain Phease is one of the ole class of skippers, and is as grand a specimer of a British sailor as is to be found on eithei side of tho Line, afloat or ashore. During hii stay of six weeks in 'J'imaru ho has won tin respect and esteem of everyone with wlion he haß come into contact, and there is no one of his many warm friends here but will •while -wishing him a pleasant and smart rui Home, join with us in expressing a genuine hopi that Tiinaru may soon soo him again. If eve he does return to our port ho may be sure o a warm welcome. The Edwin Fox takes ii all 9013 socles of -wheat, of which 5000 wer. shipped by Messrs Roysc, Stead and Co., anc 4013 by Messrs P. Cunningham and Co.
