Mails close at the Cliief Post-office, Timaru, subject to tho necessary alterations, as under : — For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Lady Bird, on Monday, 2nd June, at 6 a.m. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe and America, India, China, Mediterranean Ports, and the Australian Colonies, 1 via Brindini and Southampton, per Amwata, ! on Wednesday, 4th June, at 12.40 p.m. 1 Money Orders and Registered Letters, at ' 11 a.m. Correspondence intended to be forwarded by the abovo mail mußt be specially addressed.
