In flour good business is done and price firm at £9 to £10 j grass seed, fair business; rye, 5s 8d j best dressed, 6s to 6s 3d j best mutton, 2d per lb; inferior, ljd, with better demand and short Bupply. Beef m full demand, and, but for operation of Southern buyers, considerable reduction would have taken place Best beef from 27s 6d to 32s 6dj medium, 23s to 255; lambs short m supply, and selling readily at 7a to 9s 6d, according to weight ; store cattle m brisk demand, and selling readily at advanced prices.
