Benmore is situated on the Main Line of Railway from Invercargill to Kingston, about 32 miles from the former place. Good roads intersect the estate, and, with railway communication close by, the position is rendered an admirable one for the despatch of produce to market. Benmore is surrounded by valuable properties, all being rapidly brought into a high state of cultivation ; and since the productive nature of the soil m the district has beoome bo well known, the demand for land m the locality is constantly increasing, with a corresponding advance m value. The Leasehold — consisting of about 16,000 acres, having four years to run, at the Government rent — will be divided similarly to the .Freehold, each purchaser obtaining a piece of country of about the same extent. The Leasehold will be given m, and as it is all commanded by the Freehold Blocks, the buyers of these will be placed m the advantageous, position of retaining occupation hereafter almost on their own terms.
