Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps, receivod from Mr H. J. HART. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth m a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces ot solid matter m solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable arome, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam's Schnapps is a very Superior Article of its class, is well purified, and quite genuine. (Signed) ARTHUR H. Bib,— lhave the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that has as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odeur, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently beeu distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt m the produotionof the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth, to the palate, and m this respect compares favorably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally suitable for medical or economic purposes. I have the honor to be, &c, (Bigned) WM. JOHNSON, Analytical Chemist to the Government of Victoria. This Pure Medical Spirit, Superior to any m the Market, and Lower m Price, is offered to the Public under the full conviction that it will supersede all others now m use. j A TBIAXi IB BABKBSTLY SOLICITED.
