[Per Alhambra.] Bluff, Nov. 28. The cable news, per Alhambra, are as follows : — SPECIAL TELEGRAMS. London, Nov. 1 . The Turkish deserters from Plevna are numerous. There is a report that the garrison is short of provisions and ammunition. The fate of Oaman Pasha's army excites great uneasiness at Constantinople. Chefket Pasha has fortified Orchanie on the road between Sophia and Plevna. Nov. 2. The Russians are advancing on Sophia and took Naborigi beyond Selicho. Chefket Pasha, with 12 battalions of infantry fled, and was pursued by the Russian Cavalry. It is reported at Bucharest that Chefket Pasha was repulsed with great loss m an attempt to retake Seliche. The Russian headquarters have been removed to Bogol, midway between Plevna and Lovatz. Eight thousand Turkish troop 3 (the best regulars left m the capital) have been sent to the front. A quarter of a million Turks have been summoned to the ranks. Nov. 5. Constantinople telegrams state that Sulieman Pasha has been ordered to resume the offensive. The Russians attacked Vetova — halfway between Rutschuk and Rasgrad — on Friday (Nov. 2), and were repulsed with the loss of several hundred men. Twenty-fivo thousand Servians are massed on the frontier. Skirmishes have commenced at Tirnova. November 12. Turkish reconnaissances on the Loin, made on November 10, showed that a large portion of the Czarwitch's army was being withdrawn to aid m the investment of Plevna. The Russians announce the capture of Nadla, near Orchanie, on the 9th inst., with several thousand waggons containing provisions. A letter from a correspondent who entered Plevna with the last Turkish convoy, reports provisions at famine prices. • . : Nov. 12. The Russian cavalry are scouring all the country between Plevna, Widdin and Orclianie. Ahmet Pasha is leaving Bosnia for Orchanie with 49 battalions of infantry and t> battery of Krupp guns. . Nov. 16. The combined Turkish forces have reached Erzeroum. At Massin Rodoch, on the night of the 30th October, the Russians surrounded a — guafcTof the Turkish army, and captured two battalions. The correspondent of the Daily Telegraph was made a prisoner, but was allowed to escape after being plundered by the Cossacks. The Russian divisions were concentrated at Kopru to the north-west of Erzeroum. On November 6th the Russians attacked the Turkish positions at Erzeroum. After ten hours' fighting the Commander of the Turkish centre was shot dead, and Mukhtar Pasha was badly wounded. The Russians have entered the west of the Euphrates Valley over the Bordaigh, making Mukhtar Pasha's position at Debenbogof, near Erzeroum, nearly unendurable. On November 7th, the capture of Erzeroum was not confirmed. On November 10th Mukhtar Pasha reported the retreat from Erzeroum as inaccurate. Sir Arnold Kemball, the British Military Commissioner, has gone to Balburt. The Russians again attacked the redoubts m front of Erzeroum, and after nine hours' fighting were repulsed with heavy loss. Mnhktar Pasha 1 pursued the Russians to Deverbogof. Many Turkish . officers showed cowardice during the engagement at Doverbogof m . repulsing a sortie. At Kars, on the 6th instant, two battalions of Russian infantry entered so far •within the Turkish lines that they bayoneted many of the defenders, and spiked some guns. They took fifty prisoners, and afterwards^ withdrew. It is reported that the garrison of Kars, consisting of 12,000 men, are suffering from great scarcity of food and water. On November 12th the Times says that the failure to capture Erzeroum oh Friday, the 9th inst., by a coup de main, may be regarded as making it secure, for the winter. On November 10th, a telegram from Berlin reported that Turkey had made secret proposals for peace to the Great Powers, with important concessions to Russia, Roumania, and Montenegro, but it is improbable that they will be accepted at the present juncture. -.; ' ". The Golos asserts that any condition of peace must-include the Dardanelles. The trial of 183 Nihilists has been commenced at St. Petersburg. The death is announced- of J FieldMarshal Von Wrangle, of the Russiat army, aged 93 years.
