Dennis He'ffernnn: I met the prisoner on Wednesday night i between the Levels Station and the Washdyke,- and engaged him to work for me, _. He went to work on 'Thursday, morning aboufc three miles from my house. I discharged him after he had worked for about' two hours, as I found he "was useless.
