"Herald" Offica, j Tuesdajr, August 25. Business for the last few days has been unusually dull, owing principally to the bad weather. A little has been doing- lately m stock and Station property, Messrs Brown and Maude's ran at Burke* Pass, 55,000 acres, with 18,000 sheep, having been sold for £16,000, the purchasers being Mr Hawdon and another. Th» Mount Ninirod country, About 40,000 acres, belonging to the Otaio station, lately bought by Messrs Tescheoialcor and LeCren, has been aold to Mr Elworthy. No stock, we believe, went 'with the country. Tho pries has 'not transpired.
