I HEREBY give notice, pursuant to the provisions of "The Lost Licenses and Leases Act, 1865," that application has been made to me as Commissioner under the said Act for a certified copy of Pasturage License No. 96. Class 3, 10,000 acres, issued originally to Messrs. Aylmer and Perceval on the Ist day of February, 1861, and declared by them to have been lost. The License is to depasture ten thousand acres of the Waste Lands of the Crown situate as follows : — " On the south bank of the River Selwyn, commencing at the 14th mile-post en the 'Hororata,' extending up the river tc near the 17th mile-post, and extending back* south by compass about 54 miles. If any person can show cause why such certified copy should not be issued, the same must be made known to me at the Land Office, Christchurch, within one month from the date hereof.
