Flower Show.

. There was a very large attendance at the flower show held in St. George'n Hall last night, a full report of which appears on our fourth page, and general satisfaction was expressed at the excellence of the disp'ay. During the proceedings tho Naval Band, under Bandsman MeDermott, kindly played a number of. selections in fine style, for which they are deserving of the thanks of the community.

At the close of the show the various exhibits were offered for salr, Mr J, B. West officiating as auctioneer, and very satisfactory prices on the whole were realised.

The committee wishes us to acknowledge the following further donations: Mr John West 4s, and Mrs E. J. Clendcn hot water jug,
