(Per Presi AsßOoiaton.) ,< .! .WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. Mr, T. W. Hislop, one of the Opposition "candidates'• for!. the .. city, addressed a fairly large'meeting at Newtown last night. He strongly condemned the Government and ministration, and said several measures for* which they took credit were really' initiated' by the Ministry of which he (Mh Hislop) was a member. A vote of thankrand confidence was carried, almost unanimously.
