General Galtacre is advancing to recapture Colesburg and Aliwal North. . * ■ It is reported here that two Africander members of the Assembly have joined the Boers at Colesburg. Eight thousand Cape volunteers are under arms..
The Times' correspondent, writing from Ladysmith on the 16th, believes the besiegers are merely a small force, and that the main body of the enemy is moving south.
