London, March 10. Mr Ritchie, President of the Board of Trade, has opened the Great Central Company's new trunk line from Annesley to London.

Mr McKeever, formerly a director of Coey and Oompany, provision merchants of London, Liverpool,' Belfast, and America, whose failure was recently announced, has acquired the London business of the firm from March Ist. The new business will be carried on under the style of MoKeever and Co.

The Chamber of Deputies have voted 600,000 franca to relief the victims of the Toulon disaster, The Prince of Wales, who is on a visit to Nice, is assisting the fund raised there for the same object.
