The Thames Advertiser. Favour to none; fear of none; justices to all. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 29, 1898.
The Christmas holidays have come find gone, The crowds 'Tiie that have visited the Holidays Thames have beou fully equal to previous years, though on the two race days large numbers journeyed to To Aroha, and bpent an enjoyable time at that popular sanatorium. A gratifying feature of the holidays was that, although such largo numbers of outsiders paid the Thamos a visit, there was a comparative absence of drunkenness, both in the streets and on the racecourse at Parawai. In fact, seldom havo we soen in our midst more orderly and well-behaved crowds than during the present holidays.
