(Per Piiess Association.) , Auckland, February 2!V lit the Championship'pairs Coe and McDermott (23) defeated Brimblc combe and South (18) ; Dingle and Gray (25) defeated McGowan and Witty (18). Wellington . played Canterbury for. the final champion fours. Ballinger (skip) Wellington and Manning (skip) Christchurch. It was a very close game to the eighteenth head, after which Churchward by fine play secured the victory for Wellington, 21 to IS points.
