DISASTROUS FIRE.

Auckland. October 18. Shortly after 5 o'clock this morning a fire broke out on the premises of W. J. Bealo, sewing machine importer, Fort Street. The damage was considable. The roof of the building was burnt completely off, and the sides badly charred, while the stock, consisting of some hundred cases of machinery was for the most part cithor damaged or destroyed. The stock was insured in the Sun office for £700.
