(Per Press Association.) London, August 8. Purchases are being made of the notes draft and deposit receipts of the Oily of Melbourne Bank. Several thousand pounds worth were bonght to-day at 17a 6d in tho £. The E lie burgh meeting agreed to tha Australian Deposit and Mortgage Bank scheme subject to the bank repaying thirty per cent of the old deposit dehenlnro debt in three annual ins'al* ments of 10 per cent, each, instead of ttix iuetatrueuts of 5 per cent. each.
