Sydney, July 1. The ship Argus., from London reports that during a heavy gale on May 27 th Kelly, tho third officer, was washed overboard. The chief officer, who was a cousin of Kelly, with McFindlay, McDonald and Robertson, seamen, and Lindsay, steward, gallantly volunteored and launched a boat to rescue Kelly. They managed to pick up tho officer and had almost reached the ship on return when aj tremendous sea swamped tho boat and all.tho crew were drowned.
