St. Hirro —A parcel of ton pounds of pickod stono was obtained yostorday from the fifth stopo south of tho winze.

Preparations are at present being mado to sink a winze on No 1 leader in the main crosscut at No 3 level, for the of prospecting it below the level. This leader when worked above thisNo 3 level by Mr Moore yielded good crushing dirt, and several lots of picked stone wero also obtained from it immediately above the point where the winze is to be sunk "
