DEATH OF AN OCTOGENARIAN.

H, J, Loughnan, aged 81 years, father o' 11, A, Loughnan, editor of the Lyttel* too Time?, and related to other well known colonics died this morning. Ho was born in Loudon, and was thirty years in the Judicial Services uuder East India Co, from which bo returned just a year before the mutiny, he then took up his abode in Ne'tf South Wales, and arrived in New Zealand in 1868, and has lived quietly since, but has always taken part in Educational and mnnicipal advancement,
