ALES at the Melbourne Exhibition, 1881—Vide Jurors' Report, 120 Barrels of Beer were submitted quite indiscriminately from all parts of the world and had to be tested against one another at one and the same time. Your Jnrors have had 11 meeting, extending o\er a period oE one month, from 20th Novombor to 20th Deoember, and have deliberated on an average of three hours each sitting, so that ample time and caro was duly taken to form a correot and acceptable judgment Vf. Speight acd Co.'s Stroug Ales—Good sound Strong Ale of considerable merit, Certificate of Gold Medal. The Jurors further Roport.
