Erection of Machinery Contemplated

McDonnell's office, Mr C. Alexander presiding; The annual report of the directors was read and adopted, It slated that during the year there had been thirty tons of tiro 'treated, which had produced bullion worth £267 12s Id. and that the directors had thought this so satisfactory that they had been considering the advisability of erecting machinery at tho mine for the treatment of the ore, as the cost of bringing it to Auckland or tho Thames for reduction was so great that the company could derive no profit, Pending some stops being taken in this direction tho work in the mine had beec tor the meantime suspendod. Tho report of the mino manager, Mr M, Kelly, showed that rich prospects wore recently seen. Tho retiring directors, Mensts .1 R.
Alexander and M. Kolly, word again chosen, and Mr T, A, Menzios was reappointed Auditor.
