Sydney, October lo.s A murder is reported to have beeu committed near the town of Gundagai, where the decapitated body of a man has been discovered iu the Murirabidge River. The body has not been indentified. ARRESTED FOR FRAUD. Melbourne, October 19. Gutler, Deputy Registrar of mines, has been arrested in connection . with stamp fraud, amounting to several thousand pounds. THE EMPEROR'S DIARY. London, October 19. Count Hatzfeldt Wilderberg, the German Ambassador, has made a formal complaint to Lord Salisbury in reference to the publication of fac similes of a portion of the late Emperor's diary. The Premier repudiated auy complicity in the matter by himself, or any member of the Royal family, and has promised to institute enquiries as to how the parts of the late Emperor's diary, came into the possession of the publishers. Berlin, October 19. Drs Virchow and Waldezer contradict Sir Morell McKenzie's statements with reference to malpractice on the part ot Dergmann, when operating on the trechia in the late Emperor's throat, and declare that the autopsy revealed no traces of such] blunderiag as that ascribed hy Sir Morel MacKenzie to Dr Bergmana's operations. The latest intelligence to hand respecting the operations of the British force despatched to the northern frontier of Pmrjaub for the purpose of punishing the Hazaru tribes for the murder of Colonel Battye and Captain Armston, states that the Akozais having disregarded General McQueen's ultimatum of the 13th inst., their crops and villages have boen destroyed by the column under General McQueen.
