New Pkincjb —Tho imimigor reports for tlm past week as follows .- "Tho quartz br:kcn out iu tho eastern stopos on No. 1 roof abovo No. 3 level continues lo look fairly well and gold is still seen. The roof is still getting larger, and is now a series of strinprcrs fully two feet thick, In the workings on tho hangingwall of this reef iu tho western end there is still a nice seam of quartz carrying first class mineral, and I am pleased to say that some good colors of gold were seen to-day. Tlio quartz from tho western ond, of which there aie eight loads, will bo put through first. Tiibuters: Trembath and party have crushed 6 londs of quartz for 4ozs Gdwts gold; Butterworth and party, 5 loads for 2ozs 7dwts; and Richards, 11 loads for Gozj melted gold,-hone of which are payable There are four other parties at prosont crushing, but I am sorry to say none of (hoir parcels are shaping for a payablo return.
