The stone came from the. heavily-minoralised leader near the hanging wall of, the. lode. .The manager reports that the ! reef'is stilf swerving round towards its footwall, this being the strike whiclrwas the appearance of the.shotof gold.worked at the intermediate level' It is hoped that yesterday's haul,isa;.foretaste,;of.,the. < :rich gold, and that a few. ebifie , operations will disclose tho richest' 'portion.
