Fox and Sir Dillon Bell, the Commissioners appointed by the New Zealand Government for settlement of the Waimate Plains dispute, had had a satisfactory interview with Titokowaru, and an amicable settlement of the difficulty-was expected to be brought about. Paris, June 22. The Chamber of Deputies has voted a resolution for a complete amnesty to Communists.
