Access will be available shortly ly means of a bridle road now in course of construction by the Government. The quality of the soil is everywhere excellent, a good deal of,it.being "limestone, Most of the sections are cdvered with bush, and are a good deal broken; but some undulating lands, suitable for the plough, are found here and there. Note —Those Sections for which more than one application lws been received on the 13th April, will be decided by auction at the Crown Lands Office, Auckland, at noon on the following day. Plans may be seen, and further particulars of the land obtained, on application at this office, Conditions,' >■ No person can select more than 320 acres, Deposit of l-20th of the price of the laud to be tendered with application, Payments-Twenty equal instalments, payable one each on Ist January and Ist July of each year for 10 years. ' Improvements — Selector must bring into cultivation not less tbau one-twentieth of aroa the first year, one-tenth the second year, and within six years must have cultivated one-fifth, and effected permauent improvements to the value of £1 for every acre. The selector has the option at anv time after the first three years, of discharging all his obligations by paying up the balance of tie purchase money in one payment, provided be has effected the improvements, Residence on the land by tho selector is compulsory for a pcriol of six years from the issue of license.
