THE GOVERNOR'S MOVEMENTS.

His Excellency tho (fovernor, the Hons Col. Wbitmoro, and J. Sheehan, returned from their Waikato trip by special train on Saturday night, after a flying visit to Hamilton, Cambridge, To Awamutui Kihikihi, and Obaupo, whero they were enthusiastically and loyally received by the residents.

On Sunday His Excellency and Lady Bobinson attended St, Paul's Church, notwithstandingithe unfavourable stato of the weather. To-day the party proceed in the s.s,' Hinemoa' to the Eawau, Hot Springs (Waiwera), and the North (Bay of Islands), returning on Wednes* day. Tho 1 Hinemoa 1 then proceeds to Wellington with tho Native Minister from Tauranga, and returns to tho Manu* kau in time to convey His Excellency, Lady Bobinson, Captain and Mrs St. John, and thejvico-regal party to Wellington about the end of the month.
