The Colonial Office have undertaken to convey British works to Sydney. The Austro-German treaty has been coucluded, abrogating the clause of the treaty of Prague, which provides for the retrocession of North Schleswig. London, February 3. A collision between the Russians and Roumanians is feared in consequence of disputes about the occupation of Bucharest and other ports. Some of the outposts of both armies occupy threatening positions. The British troops marched into the Zulu country on the 12th January, and their advance has so far been without opposition from the enemy. Dr Lightfoot has been appointed Bishop of Durham, consequent on the resignation of the Right Rev. Charles Baring, D.D.
