The stock of fresh oilmen's stores iu bond hod diminished.—Property is to some extent at a standstill. The auctioneers cannot get good prices. Messrs Cochrane and Son had to withdraw a fine property, no reasonable bidding being offered. Several good properties and homesteads, have changed hands at passable prices. Farmers are looking Waikato way. Poor laud goes on but slowly, and has to be sacrificed to sell at allMessrs Grant and Morton offered for the vendors 10 crates of glasswar;, chinaware, and iron bedsteads. There was a good show of people in the mart, but they were hard to make bid. The disposition of the trade waa to pnvobase cheap for stock only.
