Auckland, Wednesday. H.M.S. ' Wolvorino,'with his Excellency the Governor, arrived from Tauranga this evening. James S. Aitken, aged 26, lawyer's clerk, and nephew of Mr William Aitken, the land agent, fell in a fit in Fort-street this morning, and died immediately. Afterwards a boy named McMurdo, son of Mr McMurdo, the Insurance Agent, was riding his father's horse home, when ho pricked it with a spur, and the animal bolted. Ho sprang off and fell on the road, sustaining concussion of the brain. His life is despaired of.
